News-ish!

Wassup! (sorry I'm running out of original greetings)
This is one of those few and far between type posts where I actually have News! Our church has a blog now, http://http://mrcccsermons.blogspot.com/. The entire sermon from each week will be posted there, yay!
In other news, Jen and I are back from Florida and we had an absolute blast! We took like 20 pics the entire time, which I'll admit is a little sad esp. since I got a new camera for Christmas, but once I get them loaded up I'll put them on my facebook... which I'm going to be allowed to get soon! yay! I sound like I'm twelve. Whatever, I've never wanted one until now and my parents wouldn't let me get one until relatively recently and those to factors meant that I had no facebook. I'll post the link here once I get one, if I get one.... I;m still thinking about it! I'm a woman, changing my mind is my prerogative! haha
Also I'm going back to Florida in six days! I'll be there for a week before my parentals make their arrival. I'm pretty excited to go back to the warmth but I'll miss everyone, esp. because I was sick (yes again) last Sunday so I'll only get one Sunday of church/my friends for almost a month. Sad no? But I'll deal. :)
Love for always!
Barry

Italian Inagural Dear Florida, I'm not a bad person!!

Ciao Bellas! (aka Hello Beauties in Italian)
I happen to j'adore Italian (and French, the language, not so sure about the French as a people but hey! they are always there when they need us, right?!). I want to travel all over the world and see things and do things and my over all goal is to speak four to seven languages by the time I die.
On to the actual post! Today, as many of you may know, is Inaguration Day here in the good ole U.S.A. Now as I openly supported McCain and Palin ya'll probably know I was not thrilled with the elections outcome, however today's festivies were very nice and tasteful and I had to watch them and I'm writing a paper on them for History. If you want I'll post it here after I'm finished and if no one says anything to me about it I'll put it up anyway, so if you really don't/do want it on here better comment! I'm such a coment begger!
Anyway last little bit's been cool around here. Gave dear one his Christmas present, and Jen gave me mine (*coughFINALLYcough*) (she forgot it like a hundred and twelve thousand times, I'm totally kdding with her!). If you were wondering she got me a bear (too cute!) w/ chocolate attached (cause I adore the stuff) and D.O. (dear one) got me... well I dunno yet but he did get me something, or so I've been told. Now I'm officially being too girly! Done. I swear.
Anyhoo I've made even more Florida plans! I'm leaving in like 10 days (give or take) and we'll be gone for five (yep we'll, BECAUSE JEN FINALLY GETS TO GO!!) and then I'll be round for two weeks-ish and then gone for three then back for the duration. I am unbelievably spoiled. And I'll admit that I totally love it! Wow, I sound like a totally awful person there, no? I swear, I'm really not.
And with that I leave you.
All my "luv" -- Barry

Just Thought You Should Know!

Yep, I really did use a quote from a Harry Potter movie as my title (I'll give a virtual cookie or something if, in your comment, you can tell me which movie!), I'm that much of a Potter-geek!
Anyway.
Howdy ya'lls!
It's been ages (and I have healed! in case you were, you know, worried or whatever) and I have missed you. This seems to be pretty much just Barry's blog at this point, which is a little bit sad I guess, but you never know, Jen could return to us (maybe). Inanycase welcome to 2009 (the last "0" year for 90 years dunchakno) and a verry late (but verry Merry) Christmas to all! I hope your hols kicked (mine really did). But they were weird for me. Like awesome weird, I saw all of my family (except on set of aunt, uncle and cousins) and got some really awesome stuff too (not the reason but a nice perk! Dude I got COACH shoes!) but it never really felt like Christmas, you know? Of course you don't, it's crazy. But... oh I don't know either!
Moving on...
I'm in a funky mood today. Sad music, nostalgic, lathargic(sp?) mood and music, it doesn't help it's cold and grey like a fat, dead pigeon outside I'm sure. I'm sure it doesn't help, I mean, obviously the weather's the weather so no confusion there. Ah.
Moving on (again)...
I just (well yesterday) finished the last book in the Princess Diaries series, it made me a little sad that it was the last one but it was pretty good. A lot of it was about her and her boyfriend considering having sex, so that was kind of not my style at all but it was just usual Mia, and I have to say (as lame as this may sound) Mia is one of my best book "friends" I love reading about her life! I love how, even though she's nothing like me (hello, she's tall!), I feel her pain. That's amazing writing. When you feel like you know the character(s)! That's the kind of writer I want to be. Speaking of, I'm still working on my book (kind of) and I started the serquel to the Lioness Diaries on fanfiction.net (it's called Lioness in the Limelight, if you were interested, by quik-wit) and thus far it's a total hit! Yay! All right, I've chattered enough!
Comment Questions:
1) how were your hols?
2) Do you even like the whole new "comment questions" thing? Would you comment without them?
3) Do you read fanfiction? Should I stop telling ya'll about my stories?
